An ideal teacher

     An ideal teacher needs to help his students learn. With an ideal teacher eventually you will have learnt something at the end of each class or lesson. Also a superior teacher should always give the students an opportunity to discuss our opinion and thoughts. Moreover I think that teacher should understand and respect their students because the students might have gone through a lot of suffering, and they must be given a chance to learn. Teachers with a good sense of humor will make the students like them more which will help them to enjoy the lessons. I find it very helpful when the tutor or teacher repeats explanations more than once; they should also encourage questions and be good at explaining. Teachers must be knowledgeable about the subject they are teaching. In addition they must prepare students with the education and skills they need for the future. Furthermore teachers must all have the degrees that are needed for the subjects they are teaching. Some of the characteristics that I would like a teacher to have are organization, patience and a willingness to create or make lesson plans and ideas that are new and exciting for students. I think it’s hard for teachers to be ideal or perfect all the time. Nobody can be perfect

The Effects of Addiction on Friends and Family

 

Chemical dependency is the loss of control over an addictive substance.

It is an illness that strikes randomly throughout the population. It happens to people at all income levels, of all races, any age and both genders.

It does not result from a lack of willpower or loose morals.

Rather, it’s a terrifying, destructive, progressive illness that if left unchecked results in death or disability. As with any serious illness, the family and friends of the victim are profoundly affected.

As the addict’s life becomes more and more out of control, family members often scramble to pick up the pieces and fill in the gaps. The bills still have to be paid. The kids need to eat. The job needs to get done. Life has to go on.

So family members work harder and harder to make up for all the emotional and practical things the addict is no longer capable of tending to. As a result, the family members’ lives become more and more focused on the addict and less on themselves.
